STEEPLEJACKING has seen many changes in the past 100 years and in that time, Rodells have undertaken a wide range of work. The bosun's chair and other traditional steeplejacking methods
are still used, but for many tasks they have given way to new methods. For instance, on high rise buildings with limited access, the more flexible and user friendly rope access techniques can be
more practical and cost effective than traditional scaffolding or hydraulic equipment.
